I’m hooked on the Rockton series, but I can’t say the same about Otherworld, mainly because I don’t like Elena that much, and she’s the narrator. I read Armstrong’s mystery series before I tried any of her fantasy, which I think she’s better known for. She tries to rationalize her decision but finds that it gets harder everyday hiding her true nature. He can't understand why she wants to live in the city and hide the fact that she is a wolf. After telling her live in, almost fiance that she is leaving to be with a sick family member, she drags her feet back home and tries to say that 'its' only temporary", meanwhile her wolf's chosen mate that she both hates and loves in turns is doing his best to change her mind. The heroine is called back home to help with an emergency situation after leaving the pack to live in the city and "play human". Paranormal "Wolves and Shifters" pretty straight forward. You know you have those books that have been gathering dust and passed over for the newest selections, those books you know are popular but haven't gotten around to reading? This is like that. I actually got around to reading this when I did a "blind" any book on the Kindle selection and basically opened it up and started reading.
